The Nord Tennis Sport Club was born in 1936 and it is one of the oldest and most prestigious clubs of Turin. Located in the largest park in the city (officially called Carrara but known by all the people of Turin as Pellerina) is easily accessible in just a few minutes from the city center.
Over the years the club has undergone many changes, always designed and implemented in order to improve the experience of a number of members enrolled in the Nord Tennis. In 2004 construction of a new semi-permanent structure (which currently hosts two tennis courts) and the renovation of the bar-restaurant area.
In 2008 was built a summer swimming pool and in 2011 two multipurpose synthetic courts were renewed to be used for either tennis and 5 player’s soccer. In 2013 a new seasonal double courts bubble was put in place. In the same year a new requalification project of the whole area was submitted to the city council for approval to come soon.
The Club today offer their members a total area of 16,000 square meters including 13 tennis courts, of which 2 clay courts on semi-permanent structure, 2 with synthetic surfaces, 9 outdoor clay courts of which 4 are on seasonal bubbles in winter time. Also available on site: soccer court, summer swimming pool, gym and club house with billiards, tennis and swimming pool changing rooms, bar / restaurant.
Today the North Tennis comes to their members with a total structure of 16,000 square meters including 13 tennis courts, of which:
- 2 fields with fixed structure clay
- 2 artificial turf
- 9 clay courts, 4 of which are covered in winter
They are also available to shareholders:
- a soccer field
- a summer swimming pool
- gym and lounge with billiards
- tennis and swimming pool changing rooms
- bar / restaurant
